We met for a diversity event and training seminar. The hotel was quite clean and comfortable. Attentive staff. Modern facility. I would stay again and recommend to others.
I was a house keeper in the Fairfield inn and suites. Over the 2-3 months i was there they ended up going through 10+ employees. The employees are treated awful, and thats why the hire and success ratio is so low. They are forced to put dirty bedding back on the beds. After working in this hotel it made me never want to stay in this hotel or others for that matter. Many different laws and regulations are bent and gone around in order to keep this hotel running. Chemical bottles are miss labeled and products have to be shared with the Hilton across the street to pass an inspection. There are no bed bug policies and apparently when a comforter has bodily fluids they are put back on the beds instead of being washed due to the lack of supply. From theft to harassment and lack of supplies it made working here hard. I ended my employment with fairfield after my prescription glasses were taken from my cart (when a guest leaves ANYTHING it is to be put in a bag labeled and left in lost and found, apparently these rules do not apply to employees) as well as was harassed and verbally assaulted by my previous supervisors boyfriend. Before ending my employment with the Marriott I was told we were disposable and none of my emails to the general manager were answered concerning the theft nor harassment going on in the work place. Housekeepers are what keeps a hotel going and for them to be treated the way Elizabeth and Debi handled things I am honestly surprised there are not anymore complaints and they have employees left.
Fast check-in and check-out when concierges. Decent hot breakfast in the morning. The irons could use a refresh as the one in my room didn't work very well. Other than that, good stay!
Rooms are very spacious, clean, and beds are very comfortable. Would recommend through Fairfield Inn to my family and friends.
I enjoyed my two night stay at this hotel. The check-in and check-out processes were streamlined. I was impressed with the TV system, with which I could sign into my Netflix, Hulu and YouTube accounts; there was no need to deal with cable or watching on my phone. The hot breakfast in the mornings was adequate and the staff members with whom I interacted were very friendly.
