My daughter spent the week at the Center for Cartoon studies so we stayed at this hotel. I was very pleased with our room. I had booked a suite and surprised that it had a full size fridge, a dishwasher and even had some dishes, glasses and silverware. It was nice to have the beds in a totally separate room. The staff was very nice, the complimentary breakfast was good too. We will definitely stay here if she comes back to CCS for another workshop next summer.
This is the best deal to visit Dartmouth. It is located just off the highway. The rooms were recently updated and very well done. All the creature comforts you need are in your room. The hidden gem is the breakfast. It's free and very good. The dining area is open, sunny, and very comfortable.
Rooms are nice and generally large. Place is clean. Bed linens and towels were below par. Key cards often didn't work and had to be replaced or reprogrammed several times. Breakfast OK but not as good as some others. Suites are very large and great if you have kids. Very nice kitchens in the suites
Modern room decor. Horrible energy saver thermostat that faced away from bed or desk and required getting up every 15 minutes to activate AC. Housekeeping had room for improvement. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Limited staff interactions, but they were pleasant when I had them.
Perfect overnight stay, would have stayed longer if I had the time. Great suite and perfect size! Everything was clean and it looks like they recently updated the furniture. Their complimentary breakfast included scrambled eggs and bacon. The location is right off the main road and there's plenty of parking, including a garage, handy during winter. I would stay here again next time I'm in the area.
